Regent Square, Pittsburgh, PA 15221 & 15218
I should start by saying that Regent Square is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Pittsburgh, so my description is biased towards this neighborhood. Regent Square is the perfect urban neighborhood, lovely older homes sitting on tree-lined brick streets combined, with a walkable neighborhood that is centered with a quaint business district of local eateries, the city’s best beer shack, quirky shops. All this just a few steps from Frick Park. I can’t imagine what else you could need, except a great house. And Regent Square has those too, from bungalows, four squares and Victorians, many lovingly restored by the independent minded residents of this East End neighborhood. An important fact about Regent Square is that although it looks like a single neighborhood it actually sits at the intersection of four municipalities, Edgewood, Swissvale, Wilkinsburg and Pittsburgh and three school districts, Pittsburgh, Wilkinsburg and Woodland Hills, and two zip codes 15221 and 15218. These are factors to consider into your choice of location in this neighborhood.
